Our research interests include autonomy, human-robot interaction, healthcare engineering, and computer vision. We explore ways to enable robots to solve problems in dynamic, complex human environments, such as hospitals and homes, and to effectively team with people. Our lab engages in algorithm design, robot building, and ecological experimentation in real-world settings. In healthcare, we explore problems in acute care, neurorehabilitation, gerontology, and medical education.
